Parents/guardians may apply to the school by mail, telephone, or in person. All registration forms must be completed before a child is enrolled.

Washington State law requires that immunization records must be up-to-date before a child can attend.  We allow certificates of exemption and do not require a child be vaccinated.

Children and families are admitted regardless of race, creed, color, gender, parental/guardian sexual orientation, veteran’s status, national origin, religion, marital status, or the presence of any physical, mental, or sensory handicap.

The school is licensed to participate in the subsidy programs offered by the State. Please contact the Director for more info.

Deposit and Fees

A $400.00 deposit is required to reserve a space for your child. One deposit is needed per child.  A deposit is only taken if the school can guarantee a space for your child/children. If you change your mind prior to your child’s enrollment the deposit is only refundable if a thirty days written notice is received by Sequoia’s Treehouse Children’s Center before care is set to begin.

A $50 administrative one-time non-refundable fee is required for each child.

A $100 supply fee is required every school year.

The supply fee is refundable only if a 30 day notice in writing is received before care is set to begin.

All forms are required for enrollment and must be on file prior to child’s first day of school. These forms are mandated by the State of Washington.

Withdrawal/Termination

If your child is withdrawn/terminated from Sequoia’s Treehouse for any reason out of the control of Sequoia’s Treehouse, including the following, the $200 deposit is non-refundable:

  • Failure to pay
  • Routinely late picking up your child
  • Failure to complete the required forms
  • Lack of parental cooperation
  • Failure of child to adjust to the center after a reasonable amount of time
  • Physical or verbal abuse of any person or property
  • Our inability to meet the child’s needs
  • Lack of compliance with handbook regulations
  • Serious illness of child

If Parents decide to terminate childcare, a 30 day written notice is required so that the vacancy can be filled by another child. The 30 days will be paid in full, regardless of whether or not the child is in attendance.

We appreciate as much advance notice as possible when terminating, and we will give the same courtesy in return.  We will give a 30 day notice of termination for which full tuition is due, whether or not the child is in attendance. Sequoia’s Treehouse reserves the right to give written notice of immediate termination where there are extreme circumstances that affect the well-being of the provider or other children in attendance. In the case of immediate termination, Sequoia’s Treehouse will prorate the remaining days of the month for non-attendance and remit a refund of the remaining monthly fees within 30 days.
