Learning is Different for Each Child

You learn in a different way and at a different pace than your sibling, and they learn differently than the neighbor next door, and they learn . ..

You get the point.  In truth, this should be self-evident to everyone, a truth so obvious that it seems hardly worth mentioning . . . and yet . . .

An entire educational system was constructed, in this country, based on the convenient belief that everyone learns at the same pace and in the same way.  Why? We can only assume it was for convenience.  Let’s face it, arranging for different teaching methods, and constructing curriculums for various learning styles, is difficult, and difficult translates into “costly” for school districts.

We do not point this out to be mean, but we do believe it is crucial that it is pointed out to parents near and far. Children learn differently. It is a proven fact. Study after study after study have born that truth out, and in order for all children to learn effectively, changes in the current system must happen.

We happen to think our way, a nature-based learning approach, is much more inclusive.
