Why Settle for Traditional Preschool?

If it’s springtime, then there must be tons happening at The Farm lately. Rarely are things placid at Sequoia’s Treehouse, and The Farm doesn’t seem to know the meaning of the word “neutral.”

The two large vegetable gardens, which have been under tarps for the entire winter, have been uncovered, revealing some gorgeous soil, and in that soil our pumpkin patches have been planted.  We put a temporary deer fence around them to keep our “neighbors” from visiting and also to prevent any wandering preschooler from bouncing and flouncing in the garden beds.

The baby chicks, incubated on The Farm a couple months ago, are no longer babies, and they can be found wandering, in formation, around the grounds.  Six white chickens, in line, is pretty easy to spot if you are looking for them.

Summer Camp 2024 is approaching. Hop on the website for information and sign-up.

The raised garden beds are showing healthy growth, with new seedlings added soon.

And there is a mysterious rectangular area out by the pumpkin patch, with wood shavings within its perimeter, and young trees planted at the corners.  What could that be????

The playfield has completely dried out from its winter drenching, the creek is vanishing daily, and a new sun shade covers the picnic table on the north end.

All animals are healthy, all children sound extremely happy, and the Spring of 2024 is sparkling with promise as summer approaches.
