When was the last time you laid down in the grass and looked up at the white clouds drifting by? You know, the way you once did as a child.
Seriously, when was the last time?
Do you remember? Pirate ships sailed by, overhead, and fluffy lambs pranced, faces formed and then were gone, replaced by comic book heroes and Disney characters.
It was a time when our inner child was allowed to run free. There were no right or wrong answers, no mistakes in what we saw, no reprimand for being silly. Our imaginations were given free run, and in that running an important part of who we were was set free to experience life.
We are dreamers at Sequoia’s Treehouse and on The Farm, and we encourage all of you to re-introduce yourself to your inner child. See the world through your child’s eyes, unbothered by taxes and mortgages and jobs. Go ahead, out to the lawn, your child in tow, a bonding experience guaranteed to deliver smiles.
