Isn’t that an incredible quote by Mr. Harris?
There is a big world out there, with all manner of different races, different beliefs, different colors and different textures. Education teaches us all to see the world through accepting eyes, to experience the world with inquisitive hearts, and to embrace the world with compassion, empathy, and understanding.
No, education is not simply math, language, and science. Education, in its finest form, is a total immersion in life, and life is comprised of so much more than simple book learning.
That is our goal at Sequoia’s Treehouse and at the Farm. That is our belief. That is our hope for every child we meet.
